Yvonne Lyons is a managing director and the vice president of content marketing at Right Source. She oversees the creation and delivery of all content and design for the company’s clients, and ensures that everything produced at Right Source is of the highest quality — remarkable, even.
Yvonne brings more than 20 years of experience to her role, including positions in marketing, publishing, design management, and corporate communications with companies including CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Robert Rytter & Associates, and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. She has also edited numerous award-winning custom magazines for clients, and has directed content strategy, design, and integrated marketing programs while serving as director of custom media at both Alter Communications (now Clipper City Media) and The Baltimore Sun Media Group. Her clients have included The Johns Hopkins University, Drexel University, University of Maryland, the Y of Central Maryland, United Way of Central Maryland, CoverGirl, and others.
Yvonne has a bachelor’s degree in writing and literature from The Johns Hopkins University. She started her college career as a music conservatory student, sights set on life as a classical flutist, but her desire for regular income ultimately prevailed.
Fun fact: Yvonne grew up in Buffalo and once walked onto the roof of her house on a snowdrift.
